Vista Ultimate Full Version

I get aproximatly 80% or higher finished doing a clean install and then I get
a blue screen with errors but it is gone so fast I can't read it. I run the
Upgrade Advisor and it says my hardware passed. I have some device problems
so I removed everthing but the essentials. Disabled on board Lan, unplug 1
Rom, all I have plugged in is video, hard drive, 1 rom and floppy drive
(forgot to unplug floppy). Then computer restarts and I have the options to
go into Safe Mode, Start Normal etc. but no matter which one I choose it says
wasn't successful to start installation over.
My System
ASUS P4P800 motherboard
3.0 GHz
1 GB Ram
Radeon X1600 video
I have tried different hard drives, with more than adequate space
Floppy

Please help, a lot of money to just sit on shelf

Re: Vista Ultimate Full Version

Whats the devices? You seem to know a lot about computers. But if theres
crusial drivers or devices that say dont work while installing then it could
be the reason.

Windows Vista Ultimate x64

In my experience as an OEM, most install issues can be resolved by replacing either the RAM or the Hard Drive. One or both of these could be knackered, i've had a similar issue in the past and it ended up being a faulty RAM stick.

Double check everything and make sure the RAM is seated properly. When i've had blue screens during an install in the past they've nearly always been hardware related.
