| | Yet another install problem Hi guys, downloaded iso, burnt with nero to dvd, tried install booting to dvd, also running image from daemon, problem "cannot read image file" tried differant combinations, even copying dvd to folder and running from file. am installing to partition with xp being the primary, have had same problem even as a clean install on c: unpartitioned,Cheers Paul bristol |

| | RE: Yet another install problem I've got the same problem. I've already installed x64, which incidently installed and worked fine except there's hardly any drivers compatible with it yet. Since the lack of drivers renders it virtually useless right now I tried downloading and installing x86. I'm installing from a hard boot and after I enter the product key it says "Windows failed to read image file" and setup cancels. I'm going to try reformatting that drive before the install, but it doesn't sound like that's the problem. I suspect a faulty download, but I don't look forward to another 5 hour wait. Any suggestions?...anyone?
