| | Decodepointer could not be located during install Has anyone seen a solution to this problem. While installing Vista(iso file) with Daemon Tools or from DVD I get an error after typing in my key code that came with the technet cd that reads: The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll. Any assistance would be much appreciated. I've looked all over for asolution. thanks, JJ |

| | RE: Decodepointer could not be located during install I had the same problem with a Microsoft supplied DVD. Just after I enter the Product Key I get the error message "The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll. After I respond to the error message. I see the message "Setup can not validate your Product Key". Has anyone figured out how to resolve this problem? -PaulB- "Jay Rags" wrote: > Has anyone seen a solution to this problem. > > While installing Vista(iso file) with Daemon Tools or from DVD I get an > error after typing in my key code that came with the technet cd that reads: > > The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic > link library kernel32.dll. > > Any assistance would be much appreciated.
