I tried install of Vista on my HP desktop that is six months old, says
it is compatible, upgrade advisor says it is compatible and I followed
instructions to the letter but in the last stages it got a blue
screen after one of the restarts. I do have a new Nvidia high end PCIE
graphics and two pci comm cards and a second hard drive added since
purchased and I must keep them but it is very frustrating.
DO NOT TRY UPGRADE WITHOUT AN IMAGE BACKUP. I DID UPGRADE INSTALL NOT
FULL AND LOST EVERYTHING. Thank god for Acronis backup!!!
