Vista - Problem in the final of the install of Vista

Hello,

I have a pc that have to run vista, I test it whit the "Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor" but when i try to install i got a problem in the final.

When I tried to install the Windows Vista Ultimate in my pc in a different partition whit 40GB (not in the same of XP).
In the start of th installation everything is normal, during the installation the pc restart one time after this it's appear that it is "installing the features" in the menu of the installation and it's do this very quicly and when it's came to the last section in the installation's menu ("completing installing") the pc crash and the mouse didn't move any more.
I wait 2 hours and it still crashed.
What I should to do??

CPU:
Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.40GHz
Memory:
1.00 GB
Hard Disk Drives:
"C" - 7.11 GB Free (25.99 GB Total)
"E" - 32.44 GB Free (39.07 GB Total) - Here I tried to install Vista...
"F" - 61.02 GB Free (83.99 GB Total)

I also have a DVD drive and I have a Nvidia 6200SE video card.

My pc is working good with the XP and it haven't any virus..

Somebody can help me to solve this problem??

I have the same problem except that I can still move my mouse.
My system contains:
Asus A7V600
Athlon XP 2400+
1024 MB DDR 200MHZ
Nvidia GeForce 6800
Don't know my HDD, but it is a Samsung 80GB using S-ATA (~18GB free space).

I have tried to install Vista after formating the HDD, I have tried to
install it without formating and to upgrade from Windows XP SP 2. The result
was always the same. Also Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor tells me that Vista
should run smoothly on my PC ...

I have browsed the internet for a while now, but I couldn't find a solution.
Could anyone please help me?
