My pre-Vista setup was like this: 10 GB FAT32 for the win2k OS, 20 GB NTFS
for storage. Then I made a new 30 GB primary partition for Vista. Vista
works fine, but how exactly do I get back to 2000?

It should be located under Earlier Version of Windows boot menu when you
start your computer. Select that, press enter and you should see it.

Thanks for the info, for some reason I didn't see that until I looked for it.
One last question, how do I get rid of the Vista bootloader so I can go back
to a single boot system?
Thanks again,
