where is product key for pre installed office trial?

I just bought a new laptop and the sells rep said it came with a 60 day trial
of office. The office programs keep asking for a product key. Can someone
tell me where to find that?
Thanks,
John

Hi John,

The free trial is usually either 60 days or 20 program starts. For a product
key, you need to purchase the program, though there may be a temporary one
in your documentation. There should be a prompt for this when you start the
program.

Re: where is product key for pre installed office trial?

Hey Rick,

Thats for the advice. I did see that I had 25 chances to enter the program
key. I just went to microsoft and downloaded a copy of office 2007 software
and got a 60 day trial there and a product key.

Thanks,
John
