Vista - Black Screen on reboot

Hey guys, like so many others I get a black screen at reboot. I tried safe
mode no luck, I tried recovery no luck, I tried EVERYTHING but no luck, HELP

Ive been getting the black screen on boot ups, It went from every other time
to everytime i rebooted. I did not have the raid drivers installed being I
dont have raid set up I didnt try and windows was reconizing that I did have
something that allowed RAID. I disabled Raid in my BIOS and my computer
hasnt had any boot up problems since. Everything seems to be working fine.
My MB is a Gigabyte K8NS Pro. Hope this helps.

Have you got SLI.
Vista does not seem to like it.
Disable it in the BIOS if you have it, and try again.
