Organization

Under Vista Home Premium I started to install a third party software package
and it defaulted to my computer name and an organization name of
"Hewlett-Packard".

How can I set the default organization name to my company name (as I did in
XP)?

I don't know if there is a way to do it from the UI, but the registry
key that controls it is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\RegisteredOrganization="YourOrgName"

Re: Organization

Thank you ... yes ... you and I knew that (and apparentlyHewlett-Packard
also does).

I was wondering if it could be changed through the UI without use of a
registry editor.

Sorry, the registry is the only place I've seen to set the organization
(other than during the initial install of Windows, that is).
