Hi,

Can i install XP, server 2003 on the same computer where Vista is
installed? Vista takes over the boot menu and the system can still
boot to older versions of Windows but not sure what happens if
installing older versions on a Vista machine.

Are you talking about a clean install so there is only the Server OS
replacing Vista, or a dual boot.

If the former, yes just do a clean install. If you mean wanting to retain
Vista and have a dual boot, that can be done too.

to OP:
if you install an older OS once vista is installed you can use VistaBootPro to fix the boot menu back to multi booting.
