Windows Vista x86 installation... BSOD!

Ok, I am being a little adventurous with the installation and I am getting a
BSOD during first part of the installation. The thing is that I am not sure
what and where to look.

Here is the system specs I am trying to install Vista to.
=====
AMD 2200XP, 1 gig ram
80 gig - PROMISE RAID TX2000
Nvidia Quadro FX 500
Asus A7V8X
Adaptec SCSI card 29160
PLextor SCSI CD Burner
Pioneer DVD-Rom / Sony 8x DVD Burner
=====

anything really wrong with the config!? might it be the RAID drivers?

The array is showing as an 8mb partition... can't resize or reformat from
Vista.

Thanks.

Re: Windows Vista x86 installation... BSOD!

if it bsods pretty soon after boot (0-2 mins) then yeah the raid drivers are
good guess.

if it's late in setup then windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log <<-- last 20 lines
can sometimes help if setup bsods or hangs
