Configuring Outlook 2003 in Vista Home Basic

When I configure my pop 3 account on outlook and select 1) "connect using
dial-up", and 2) "leave a copy of email on server", whenever I re-open
Outlook I find it has reverted to "connect using LAN" and unticked the "Leave
a copy" box!
Can anyone help me?

Re: Configuring Outlook 2003 in Vista Home Basic

Try making only one of the changes at a time to see if one of them will
stick after you do a normal shutdown?
Does Outlook try and test the configuration chages by trying to dial in and
log into your accout?
