| | Com port for modem? In XP the modem is on COM 3, and functions well. In Vista (using exactly the same hardware), _only_ COM 1 is given as a choice for modem install. Device Mgr. lists it as operating properly, but programs don't see it (and report that no modem is installed). Clues? |
