Sorry flash but i think you have lost it,I am in same position,but was not
bothered about this,have read that the only way to not lose xp was to
partition the hard drive installing xp on one side,then vista on other,and
when on install vista ask to file windows xp click no. As you probally know
the program files are still their,windows files and windows old files on the
hard drive and old programs are still available to access.You could still try
partitioning and reinstalling xp.If your having boot up problems with some
programs the vista has program compatabillity I think in program tools,wich
allows to run your problem programs in older windows then save it for each
program you sellect.
