Vista - Adobe Photoshop CS3 Instillation problems

I have downloaded the demo for this program, and opened the folder,double
clicked the setup file. A setup logo flashed on for a second and then closed.
I have used the suggestions that Adobe has on there site to no avail.

Did you try a right click on the installation file and Run as Administrator?

In addition to Rock, Adobe products expect UAC to be enabled. If you have
disabled it, turn it back on.

Hi
I had similar problem with Photoshop.
Switched off everything I could i.e. ant- virus/firewall/antispyware
progs etc but left internet connection running, installed like a
dream........and didn't get blue screens afterwards..... like three
weeks ago.
