older microsoft office software for teachers & students

I ordered a Lenovo Laptop from e-bay which I thought would have microsoft
office installed, but I was mistaken. Can I load my old microsoft office for
students & teachers which is XP edition onto the new laptop with windows
vista business edition? I don't know much about this stuff, please help

Yes, the XP version of Office works fine with Vista. There are a couple
