Namaste, Pratyusha

Yes - Vista Business Enterprise and Ultimate can join a Windows Domain. The
Domain Controllers can be Windows 2000 or Windows 2003.

No special techniques are required. To join a single client, manually, go to
System Properties, Computer Name, and click on Network ID. It's pretty much
the same as on Windows XP.

You may need to check the Windows Firewall settings, to make sure NetBIOS
and LDAP ports are open (for comms to DC).

To join a large number of machines as they are first configured, you can put
the Domain information into the unattend.xml answer file (see the Windows
Automated Installation Kit, WAIK, for details).

Vista Home Edition cannot be joined to a domain.

Hope this helps,
