| | Vista Upgrade issue I don't have the option of upgrade, but rather clean installation, when I get through to the setup screen on VISTA. I'm going from an XP 32 bit version on a 64 bit machine to the VISTA 64. I removed Office 2007Beta2 as suggested in the help file, but I still have the "upgrade" issue. |

| | Re: Vista Upgrade issue You can not upgrade from 32 to 64 bit or vice versa. Try upgrading to Vista 32 bit. If you want Vista 64 bit, you need to perform a Clean Installation of Vista.64. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "markb" <markb@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F0FB62DE-E6AC-4807-88BF-5EDC56A5A1C8@microsoft.com... >I don't have the option of upgrade, but rather clean installation, when I >get > through to the setup screen on VISTA. You cannot upgrade to Vista 64. Only a clean install works. |
