a minimum overhead installation - how?

Hi All,

I've just installed the Beta 2 Build 5284 on a laptop only just caqpable of
running it at all:-). Therefore, it's my purpose to test applications
compatibility and performance under Vista rather then the Vista's blows and
whistles. Here goes my question:

Which services / applications should I disable safely (this machine is an
ICS one)? Please try to be descriptive when answering, as I can see many
services not known under older versions of Windows are present.

Thanks in advance

Piotr

I wouldn't reccomend disabling services at this time... still debug code and
no optimizations in it. Til more is known about the new services and
dependancies I'd wait til RC1 which scuttlebutt says we'll get also (at
least I hope so).
