boot partition information in bcd store

Is it true that bcd store contains only start address of bootable
partitions? Will computer boot after a bootable partition was scaled
with the partition start address preserved without changes in BCD
store?

Sort of, see: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa362673.aspx

Please define what you mean by "scaled".

RE: boot partition information in bcd store

Hello,
Not sure I understand the question.
We have already booted to the drive ( via bootsector and MBR).
which then call bootmgr which loads, which is turn would load the BCD file.
So we should have loaded the boot code from the volume prior to getting to
the BCD file.
Thanks,
