I have a Vista installation on an AD network. When I make changes to my
Sidebar (add, change gadgets) I can see the results in the settings.ini file.
When I logout and log back the settings file returns to it's default state.
I've confirmed rights to the path and file. Microsoft notes a issue with the
"arrangement" of gadgets in article 930277 but even arranging my gadgets
makes no difference. With each logout at the end of the day I find my Sidebar
back at the default when I startup the next day. All other changes (such as
adding a favorite or creating a folder and files) are there when I restart.
