| | Desktop size, colour and resolution I am running VISTA home premium with a flatscreen TV monitor. The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 6150 GPU. The monitor resolution is WXGA (1366X768) at 60Hz. In VISTA control panel, 1366X768 is not available, so I set it to 1360X768 60Hz. With this setting, the desktop fits correctly, but is tinted purple. DVD images from VISTA Media Center are also purple. If I change the frequency to 30Hz, the colours are correct, but the desktop is a little too big for the monitor screen: the task bar is unavailable. What to do? |

| | RE: Desktop size, colour and resolution Thanks Mick Murphy, You pointed me in the right direction. On the graphics driver control panel, I had to change the HDMI color format. Now it is working fine.
