Hello,
I am really new to the whole Vista Beta thing but am fairly computer savvy.
Anyway, I downloaded the 32 bit version of Vista Beta 2 and got the
activation key. Now, what happens next occours weither I try installing Beta
2 from XP or just boot off the DVD. I type the product key, hit next, the
computer 'idles' for 5-10 seconds then says "Windows can not validate your
product key." No error code, nothing. I have done this with two different iso
downloads and two different product keys.

And yes, its a product key off the Microsoft site.



Very frustrating, as you can imagine.

Have you tried requesting another key from Microsoft?

Yes, I,ve tried with two different keys from Microsoft. Since I got the
second key, it says I have Installed it on the maximum number of computers
for one product key. I'm thinking its counting every time I hit next in my
setup and it says the error '...key can not be validated."
