Easy Transfer Fails

I just bought a new Vista PC. Tried to run Windows Easy Transfer over my
home network. Saved WET in folder on old PC just fine, ran it, entered
codes, computers are communicating, then the old computer gives the following
error "there was an error scanning data on your system, Windows Easy Transfer
will now be canceled."

I was able to run the Beta version of Windows Easy Transfer Companion on the
same machinges with the same settings without any problems.

I've tried disabling the firewall and virus scanner to no avail. Nothing
"easy" about WET.
