| Guest | Wron Installation Type Of course my computer crashed and burned when I tried to upgrade from XP sp2 tto Vista business. Went through the entire install process until the Last then BSOD. Would pass POST start to install then nothing. tried to do the usual F8 routine without any luck. NO hardware problems identified. Unplugged everything not bolted down. Still nothing. Could not access the operating system, it would not let me do a reinstall, so I did a clean Install and everything is working perfectly BUT no I cannot activate it as I did not start the installation from within XP. As i could not access it. What do I do now. Is there a number I can call to activate. I cannot get that Info from my system. Any help would be appreciated. Dave |

I don't know in your case but be sure that no cable for Internet or Lan is plugged in the system. After that invoke the Activation wizard choose activate by phone and Call your Local MS Customer support ![]() enjoy ![]() |
