not valid SaveData.MIG file???

Please help!!!
I created SaveData.MIG file with Windows Easy Transfer utility formated HD
and reinstalled Vista OS. Now when I'm trying to import data from this file I
get message telling: "Please select a valid file where your data can be
restored from". What can I do? Please help!!! I copied this file on my local
drive to my documents folder where I have full control rights, but no success.
Any solution appreciated.
Igor.
