A friend of mine will be giving me a Vista Ultimate version for retail
in the US and Canada.

If i am installing for the UK will this pose a problem? Will i still
be able to access the ENglish specific keyboard and regional stuff?
Or is this not an issue.

I will be installing the 64bit version with the Quad core 2 intel
processors and the 8500gt 512mb version of the graphics card with 2
gig of ram. Is there anything i should watch for - any advice?

Install the 32 bit version and eliminate a lot of potential problems.
