windowvista/ram&hard drive

I upgraded my P.C. with windos vista home premium the upgraded version.I
installed a new motherboard M2N-SLI DEluxe,AMD Athlon 64x2 Doal Core
processor
GeForce 8500 GT, and installed 2 (2) G of ram which should show 4. vista is
only showing 3G of ram and it split my 360 hard drive in half.how do i get my
4 gig's and my 360 hard drive as one. thanks for the help.

32 bit Vista will only access a bit over 3 GB RAM, it won't see 4 GB.

Vista would have only split your hard drive, if you told it to. You can
move any files off one of the partitions, delete the empty partition, and
extend the other partition to use the free space.
