power point & word

My computer had a virus, so the repairman erased everything in the hard
drive. Windows Professonal XP was re-installed, but there is no Power Point
or Word (.doc). How do I get these to work again?

Thank you.

Re: power point & word

You install them again from the Original MS Office CD.

Re: power point & word

I tried to do that, but they still wouldn't work. They don't even show up on
the menu.

Thank you.

Re: power point & word

Not sure how you do that, as installing MS Office will include both unless
you do a custom install and specifically exclude them.

Re: power point & word

Vanessa made a later post about having "three OSs" installed and and asking
for assistance. Most likely the Office problem and three OSs are related.

Curious as to the status of the "repairman" she mentions!!
