Installing Vista 64-bit as 32-bit ?

Because the installation of Vista Home Premium 64-bit already costed me lots
of money and sleepless nights, I want to re-install it as 32-bit.
Is it possible to install my 64-bit version as a 32-bit version ? Maybe with
some extras at the command-line ?
Thanks for the info.

No, it is not possible. You need a 32-bit version of Windows to do this.

Re: Installing Vista 64-bit as 32-bit ?

If you purchased Windows Vista OEM probably not.
Your 64 bid DVD is only 64 bit, 32 bit is a different DVD.
Contact the seller for options.
But you may need to purchase 32 bit.
One of the many reasons OEM costs less than retail.

If you purchased retail, you already have 32 bit media.
Since there is no downgrade/upgrade path between 32 bit and 64 bit, a
Clean Installation is necessary.
Back-up all important data before beginning.
