Problems with email links

Having just switched to a new Vista running laptop with windows mail, I just
discovered a big problem. For my online stores, I use email links that auto
insert the topic, email address, and a standard message into my email
program. It keeps everything in my sent folder which is what I like. Worked
perfectly with outlook express and with thunderbird, but in windows mail, it
posts in the formatting, doesn't put in the subject, and screws up the email
address link :-P Any ideas?

This is how the body text is coming out - normally it inserts line breaks
like it should, but not in windows mail. I double checked and rich text is
selected as the message format.

The subject line is coming out blank too... I use the ?&subject= that has
always worked before. And the email address is posting it "mail=email"
instead of just the email address.

Below is the coded link I use in my cart program to generate the message.

Hi Lori,

Windows Mail is very sensitive about 3rd party programs messing with it. If it worked fine in Thunderbird, you might consider using it as your default email program, and just using Windows Mail for personal use if you want.

Thunderbird - Reclaim your inbox

Since you are using this for a business, you might consider using something like Outlook instead.
