Vista - Some mail not arriving

Suddenly mail from an old contact in Australia is not arriving although he
tries several times with each posting. How do I find out the reason ? I have
Windows Vista. My contact does not send spam or obscene mail.

Does he get a bounce message?

Look in your blocked sender list to see if you have blocked him or his
domain.
Tools - Junk E-mail options - Blocked Senders

or add his email address to the Safe senders list

Are you scanning your Junk Mail folder before deleting its contents?
