Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so, right-click
on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Had the same problem

not to mention infinite other problems with Windows Mail when outlook
express for Win2k worked perfectly for me >:|

I used a program called WMUtil, worked perfectly, now the outbox is cleared
and mails come and go freely

Tried this. Downloaded the update. It didn't work. Any other ideas? (Tried to
download again; got message that I couldn't.)

Check through the options in PROBLEM ONE of the tutorial below. It may be able to help you fix this problem.
