I am not trying to send e-mail, merely post to the Microsoft's own
newsgroups. When I first setup Vista, and the Mail program there is the
option to add the "Microsoft Communities" account, which is just Usenet.
While I can receive posts, I just can not respond or post anything to the
server. So my question is how can I enable posting to these groups?
By going to
www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/ I can log in here
using a Windows Live ID and post, as I have done now. But withing Windows
Mail I can view this same message, just not respond. But this is merely a web
interface to their own usenet server. Since my Windows Live ID seems to work
only for the web interface, I would like to know what I need to post to the
groups from withing Windows Mail
