Vista - Can't delete items from the deleted items folder

When I choose the purge the items for the deleted items folder it asked am I
sure, and I say yes but nothing happens. I downloaded the quickfix that
Robert mentioned for the 32 bit version and it didn't fix the problem. Now I
can select each messge individually and delete them but if I select them all
and try to delete they won't delete. Any suggestion?

Hi Laura,

This will fix your problem:
Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.
