Vista - Cannot re-establish Eudora as my default E-mail program.

Click "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" in the Default Programs applet, and associate "mailto:" protocol with Eudora. It certainly works fine here.

Ramesh, the problem (as I understand it) is that Eudora is not listed as

The same was the case here, but I could associate mailto: protocol with Eudora, via "Associate a file type or protocol with a program", not the "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults".

I understand Eudora isn't listed in the "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults" window.

In the "Default Programs" window, click "Associate a file type or protocol with a program"
Select MAILTO in the Protocols list, and then click Change program.

Is Eudora listed in the resulting dialog box?

Which version of Eudora are you using? I tested with the current version in their site and it's listed when I double-click the "mailto:" entry. If you're already using the latest version of Eudora, then I can create a .REG file for you to resolve the problem.
