All emails are regarded to be junk-mail

A customer of mine has a brandnew Vista-PC with the effect, that all
incoming emails are regarded as junk-mail and put into the junk folder.
The junk-filter stands on the value as delivered (the second one from top,
the english word might be "low").
What can be done to repair that behaviour?
(Remark: the only thing I changed on that PC was deinstalling the
preinstalled Norton and installing another antivir program.)
Thanks in advance
Axel

Click on Tools, then Junk E-mail Options. If there's no blue dot
in the box before Low:, click on that box and then Apply.

Click on Blocked Senders. If any email address you want email
from, or even just the part after @, is on the list, click on it and
then Remove. Click on OK.

Thank you for your reply.
The problem is vanished, since I have de-installed and re-installed the
anti-virus program.
The settings were already as you have recommended.
Thanks again
Axel

Re: All emails are regarded to be junk-mail

If your antivirus program was responsible for creating this
problem, why would you want to reinstall it?

Because Norton was installed before, and I had installed another
antivir-program without deinstalling Norton first. I assume this has caused
the problem

Yes, installing more than one AV definitely spells trouble.
It isn't clear to me which AV you wound up retaining, but
many people find that Norton AV is not compatible with Windows Mail.

Hi Gary,

the problem is resolved after I have run the Norton removal tool and
de-/re-installed the other AV-program.
This is "AntiVir" from Avira. It is very popular in Germany and definitely
compatible with Vista and Windows Mail (they say so).
Thank you for your contribution

When a "good" email shows up in Junk Mail right click it, choose Junk Mail
options and click Add to Safe Senders. Then click Not Junk on the toolbar.

Antivir=good
Norton or McAfee=Not good.
