| | download mail without deleting it from server? can mail be downloaded and read without deleting it from the mail server when using vista mail (or any email program for that matter). amazingly david pogue in the "missing manual" for windows doesnt address this basic question. nor can i find an answer from google. i use http based earthlink mail service (3.95 per month) witch allows me to access mail without an email program, like hotmail. when i access my mail from internet it doesnt erase it from server. when i access mail with vista mail it does erase it from server. i want to decide when to erase it from server myself. thanks. |

But remember to tell it to delete the email eventually, or there will probably be problems with the server deciding you have too much email and refusing to accept more.
