Messages stuck in oubox

    Messages stuck in oubox

    I have a problem with messages getting stuck in the Windows Mail out box, but
    my symptoms are slightly different than those that have been previously
    reported. I can delete messages in my out box and do not get a message
    indicating there are messages in the outbox when I close Windows Mail. Is
    the fix the same patch that has been previously provided or is a new patch
    required?

    Probably a different problem.

    Click on Tools, Accounts, your email account, and Properties. If there
    is no check mark in the box before Include this account when receiving
    mail or synchronizing, click on this box and then Apply. Click on OK
    and then Close.

    Click on Tools, then Options, then Send. If there is no check mark in
    the box before Send messages immediately, click on this box and then
    Apply. Click on OK.

    If this doesn't fix it, then try the previously provided patch.

    Thanks, Gary. The patch didn't work - but the alternate method provided as
    a back up to the patch did work. Thanks for providing the link.
