Vista - Sending Email Help

Up until 2 days ago I was able to send and receive mail with no problems
through Windows Mail. According to my ISP no changes have been made to their
email settings, and everything is input correctly into Windows Mail to send
and receive mail. I do not get an error message when I attempt to send mail,
the emails simply stay in the outbox. When I attempt to send mail, the box
flashes so quick I can't see what message shows (whereas when I click
receive, it connects, authenticates, etc.). Are there any suggestions?
Nothing I have attempted is working. Thanks in advance.

Hi Janai,

You may have a stuck message in the Outbox, and/or your antivirus program is causing this. Try both methods below. They will not hurt anything if this is not the problem.

Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.
