trouble with printer

I tried to receive messages and my computer stated:

The Host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you hav e entered
the server name correctly.
Account 'POP3', server: 'POP3'. protocol: POP3 Port:110, Secure (SSL): no,
socket error: 11001, Error number: 0X800cccod

would you please advise me as to how I may correct this situation? Thank
you

You didn't say what trouble you are having with the printer.

POP3 is not a valid server name. You need to check with your email
provider to get their instructions for using their email server. If they
haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, use their
instructions for Outlook Express but under Windows Mail. The
instructions are probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you
could wait to see if anyone here knows where to find Comcast's
instructions.

Re: trouble with printer

The server name is incorrect.
The outgoing server should be named "smtp.comcast.net" instead of "POP3".
