replying email adresses

when I recieve an email and want to reply, in the adressbar appears the
following:
.........@xxxxxx<.......@xxxxxx> with an underscore. While the emailadress
in the adressbook is correct. When I want to remove te second part of the
adress its not possible while the whole adress disappears. What's going wrong
?

What happens when you try to reply to the address without changing it?

Re: replying email adresses

When you reply to an email, the recipient's name and address is copied
verbatim from the Reply-To or From field of the original message.
As you discovered, you can't edit that unless the whole thing is deleted.
Once you start retyping it from scratch, the auto-complete should kick in.
