| | Transfer dbx files Is there any easy way to transfer individual 'WinXP' 'Outlook Express 6' ..dbx files to Vista Windows Mail? Using home network, I can go all the way to the WinXP Outlook Express directory, where the .dbx files are located, but the files are non existent to Vista Windows Mail. What am I doing wrong? Any comments will be highly appreciated. |

| | RE: Transfer dbx files Get the .dbx folders on the Vista machine then in Windows Mail go to Import Messages and follow the wizard to import, say, your Inbox and Sent Items from the folder you made earlier. Once these are imported, a sub-folder is created for each one imported. Go to it and drag the messages to the Inbox proper. Repeat this for Sent Items. After copying you can delete the now empty sub-folders. | | Re: Transfer dbx files Thank you for your reply. I finally found out what I did wrong, rather, what new way Vista wants me to live in its world. Apparently, all I needed, was to touch the Outlok Express folder, rather double click on it, as I was used to in the WinXP for a long time. Thanks again.
