Hi I,m from Poland and I use Windows Vista 64bit Mail on notebook.
When I traying send e-mail I recive this error:
Unknow Error 0x800C0148
(in polish: Wystapil nieznany blad. Protokol SMTP, Port: 0, Zabezpieczenie
(SSL): Nie, Numer bledu: 0x800C0148

Please check the Port number that your account is set to use,
tools>accounts>select account>properties>advanced tab.

Check your internet provider setup instructions for the correct port number
to use.
Usually 25 for SMTP (NOT 0, as the error indicates).

A 3rd party mail scanner may have made the change, AV or spam filter etc?

But if I close application and launch it again all is ok. Now when I click
tab SEND/RECEIVE I receive this error.

McAfee installed? Remove it and get a free AV from the net, AVG or Avast.
