| | Delete News Messages x days after downloading Windows Mail, running on Vista Home Prem (fully updated), Packard Bell BL2380iSTART, originally 1gig RAM, now 3gig. In Tools/Options/Advanced/Maintenance/Delete News Items ticked 31 days after downloading; doesn't seem to work. Today, I manually deleted some 20,000 messages from November '07 dating back to September '07 from 8 NGs I subscribe to. Why didn't WinMail delete as requested? Is there another setting I need to apply? TIA Gurus out there. -- Delboy A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. Douglas Adams |
