| | Re: Error Number: 0x800CCC90 That was the receive error message. Could you also post the send error? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with IMAP receive errors, but I may be able to help you with the SMTP send problem. -- Gary VanderMolen [MS-MVP WLM] "Noir" <Noir.3190j4@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:Noir.3190j4@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net... | | Re: Error Number: 0x800CCC90 0x800CCC90 error on IMAP is caused by your Anti Virus. Disable your email scanning (incoming and outgoing) feature of your AV. In some cases depending on the make of your AV (Norton and MacAfee ) needs to be uninstalled. Use something that is free and not so bloated like Avast. Whichever one (AV)you decide to use always when installing never select the email integration (scanning) feature of the AV security suite -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. Some of the antivirus programs have resident portions that keep running all of the time. |
