Vista - No left side of email screen

My new monitor is 19" widescreen and my windows mail shows nothing to the
left of the message. The is no indox, deleted mail or anything showing to
the left of the windows mail screen. Can anyone help? HP wants me to wipe
out my computer and start over. Any other suggestions? Sure would
appreciate any help

1. It sounds like you may have the right pane expanded to the left, and
covering the left pane.
Do you see a thin vertical line on the left side?
If you move your mouse across it, do you see a double arrow <-> ?
If so, when you see the <->, click and drag it to the right.

2. You may have some components hidden. Click on View - Layout
Under the Basic, check all of the boxes. Click Apply.
