Windows Mail Low Memory or Disk Space

Hello, have done a search on this issue, but I cannot find the right answer.

Here is the problem description:
Computer running Windows Vista Home Premium EN
HDD: 120 GB in two partitions each of ~60GB.
2048 MB RAM

I've switched from XP to Vista, thus from OE6 to Windows Mail. I have a lot of folders to organize my emails.
I imported my emails from OE6 to Windows Mail without any problem. It worked fantastic for a while then:

The problem:
When I opened Windows Mail I got a shock none of the folders were there anymore except for the Inbox. The inbox has no emails in it. When I clicked on the Inbox folder a message appears in the mail preview pane, saying the message could not be displayed "not enough memory or disk space.

I tried the following but all in vain:

1. I went to look at the store folder. I was glad to see everything was still intacted. I copied the whole Windows Mail folder to my desktop for backup.
Since the store folder was empty, Windows Mail will recreate the store when Windows Mail restarts. I worked and I had all the normal folders back.
I then imported the mails from the backup I made and all the old folders were back again. I was releaved but only for a short while everything was normal until I opened and closed Windows Mail for about 5 times.
Then again NO FOLDERS, NO MAILS, just the message telling me not enough Disk space.
2. I thought maybe their is something wrong on the partition C: and I moved the Message store to partition D: . It didn't help.
3. I raised the virtual memory manually, which is by default controlled by Windows, from 1.5Gb to 3Gb which should be more than enough. Before doing this I did check the Performance tab in the Windows Task Manager to see if all the physical memory was all used up, but there was still enough left.

Please help.

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders and for some other problems. If you don't know whether
to use the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version
first. Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of those
from Norton or McAfee, or a recent one from Trend, tend to cause
such problems, although seldom immediately, so if you have such a
program, remember where to find the fix - you are likely to need it
again.

Hi ReleasedFire,

Welcome to the Vistax64.com forum.

This will fix your stuck undeletable email problem:
Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.
