I've recently bought a new computer and have my email set up, but when I try
to reply to someone's email, no text shows up when I type. The cursor moves,
but no text appears. Any ideas?

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them tend to cause
assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

Re: Replies

I haven't heard of it causing problems.

Re: Replies

That's not an antivirus. However, it wouldn't hurt to temporarily
uninstall it just to see if your Windows Mail works better.
Do the same for any other third party security software.
You can always reinstall those if it makes no difference in regard
to your Windows Mail problem.

Re: Replies

I have seen this before. What happens if you right click on the body of the email that you are typing that does not show and select Ctrl+the A key.

Is your font color set to white
