| | Vista and Identity Question I have recently upgraded to vista from xp, while on xp I had two identities on our email account. Vista now states that Identities are no longer allowed. That said, is there anyway I can retrieve old emails I have on the secondary identity? I tried to import all identities with no success please advise. Thanks |

| | Re: Vista and Identity Question I used a USB flash drive to transfer the messages and the address book. Simply switch identities on the WinXP system, then drag and drop the messages onto the drive. These will then be individual EML files. You may want to create separate folders on the drive if necessary. Plug the flash drive in the Vista system then open Windows Explorer and WinMail so that you can drag and drop the EML files into the applicable WinMail folder(s). The OE address book is a WAB file. Simply double-click on the WAB file and the addresses will be imported into WinMail's contacts.
